What You’ll Do

  • Primary face off to assignment sponsors and senior client staff. Actively manages client relationships. Leads all but the largest consultancy assignments. Supports business development opportunities. Mentors staff
  • Able to work independently but ensures salient information is communicated to Practice Management/Consulting Heads. Builds key customer relationships
  • Ensures that all work on assignment is carried out to meet or exceed client quality expectations; commits to delivering the right outcomes, deliverables and solutions to fit the client’s needs; ensures the appropriate quality controls are actively managed; continually initiates opportunities to exceed client expectations without making unreasonable commitments; works through ambiguity, providing clarity and structure throughout delivery of a project; uses a flexible approach which results in a meaningful impact on the client’s business; works to build capability, best practice competencies, and skills within the client’s teams
  • Develops respect and trust from EPAM and client colleagues by being supportive and highly reliable; Encourages collaboration to enhance performance within both client and EPAM teams; encourages and is open to different viewpoints, ideas and contributions to help others feel valued, appreciated and included. Identifies opportunities to proactively build strategic relationships – at an individual, account and organization level
  • Takes responsibility for team performance and how this contributes to the overall successes of client projects and internal initiatives; maintains personal accountability for the engagements financial performance; continually evolves our commercial model and its application to winning and delivering client work
  • Expected to participate actively in meetings/phone conferences with clients; collect requirements, data and information; create presentations without supervision; is dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; acts with clients in mind; gets first-hand client information and uses it for improvements in products and services; demonstrates a clear understanding of a client’s strategies and challenges; establishes and maintains effective relationships with clients and gains their trust and respect; deals with adversity and ambiguity; proactively reaches out to client personnel to assess client satisfaction

What You Have

  • At least 3+ years of experience at a Senior Manager grade or 10+ years relevant industry consultancy experience, or 10-15+ years relevant industry experience and consulting experience combination
  • Has an excellent understanding of the relevant area of expertise and is known as an SME/thought leader in one or two areas. Brings expertise and insights into the solutions we deliver to build client capability; knows how to quickly and appropriately identify and engage internal and external experts; is conversant in all areas of EPAM’s Consulting Service Framework; provides thought leadership and knowledge capital that conveys our expertise externally through multiple channels
  • Viewed internally and externally as an expert on how businesses work; understands and speaks intelligently about current and possible future trends, practices and policies, technology and information affecting his/her business and organization; uses broad base of experience to advise clients on how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace
  • Has a wide network of senior industry professionals and is well known to existing clients or potential clients. Proven expertise in leveraging network to seek opportunities for additional work
  • Must be able to travel as needed
  • Must have at least a Bachelors degree; advanced education is appreciated
  • Should be comfortable with a blended utilization and new business target
