Application Support Engineer Description

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer with experience in the maintenance of systems with advanced security requirements and knowledge in both Windows and Linux technologies. Shifts from 6 am to 3 pm KZ time are implied.

What You’ll Do

  • Hold system maintenance activities:
    • Track, troubleshoot and fix ongoing issues
    • Provide end-user support on undocumented issues
    • Conduct deployments of system updates
    • Document implemented solutions
  • Be responsible for project delivery activities:
    • Plan and implement environments with accordance of roadmap
    • Install and configure software on dev-to-prod environments and maintain environments consistency
    • Prepare, install custom solutions, maintain pre- and post-deployment configuration

Project technologies and tools

  • Azure Cloud
  • Microsoft Windows Server (Windows Cluster, Active Directory, Powershell, Java)
  • Oracle DB preferable
  • Knowledge in security area preferable
  • Azure DevOps

What You Have

  • Experience working with the following tools:
    • SolarWinds
    • Zabbix
    • Jama
    • Git
