We are currently looking for Modernizatio Professionals in India for our offices in multiple locations & Remote working.

We are looking for experienced Software Architects to work on critical application & product development. You'll be a part of a modern, lean, self-governing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Report to Director, Legacy Modernization
    • Collaborate with global legacy Modernization Solution Architects
      • Felicitate and collaborate requirements for Legacy Modernization assessments, creating roadmaps, defining future state architecture, and defining and building transitional architecture from top to bottom
        • Assist in assessing legacy Application
          • Design and build complete CI/CD to support Legacy Modernization

            Requirements

            • Proven track record of estimating Legacy Modernization assessment
              • Proven track record performing application/portfolio assessment
                • Proven track record of creating actionable roadmaps
                  • Proven track record of estimating Legacy Modernization implementation programs
                    • Proven track record implement Legacy Modernization programs based on the following technologies
                      •  COBOL
                        •  CICS
                          •  IMS
                            •  DB2
                              •  MQ
                                •  Assembler (nice to have)
                                  • 5+ years’ experience in migrating from the above technologies to
                                    •  Java
                                      •  .Net
                                        •  Cloud ready
                                          •  Cloud native
                                            •  3270 screen migration to NodeJS, React
                                              •  Database migration to RDBMs (progress, MySQl, oracle, DB2-LUW, etc…); Nosql databases (Hana, MongoDB, etc…)
                                                • Deep knowledge of SDLC, software development and software testing methodologies along with change and configuration management practices in multiple environments
                                                  • Programming skills, scripting languages & build tools - COBOL, REXX, JCL, At least one mainframe-based source control solution
                                                    • Knowledge of implementing SOAP, REST or JSON on the mainframe
                                                      • Familiar with issues related to uplifting COBOL from Version 4.2 to 6.X
