To commemorate India’s 71st Independence Day, we held a celebration at EPAM India for our employees to come together and show their patriotic spirit.
As part of the celebrations, India EPAMers came dressed in traditional attire and we held a fashion show to select the best dressed EPAMer. To uphold our EPAM value of ‘acting as a team’, we also held a Bay Decoration competition where team members were asked to decorate their desks and cubicles centered around the theme of Independence Day. It was exciting to see their enthusiasm as they huddled together and came up with colorful themes and vibrant designs for their respective bay. To involve our new hires in the festivities, they evaluated the bays and the winning team was awarded a trophy and gift vouchers. In the evening, we held an ‘Antakshari’ competition where EPAMers formed groups to sing songs and score points while the audience cheered for them and sang along. We recently launched a photography class where a professional photographer came to EPAM India to teach aspiring photographers. During the Independence Day celebrations, it was great to see our budding photographers capture the event and many beautiful moments. As part of our CSR activities, some of our India EPAMers, along with their families, visited Dhyanahitha High School (adopted by EPAM India for IT education) for flag hoisting and celebrations and distributed sweets to the children at school. It was a great time for all of our employees to come together to celebrate and create wonderful memories.
