IT Week at EPAM

Our work revolves around the continuous exchange of knowledge and the search for innovative solutions. Every day, we learn something new by communicating with colleagues, customers and partners to create complex and important solutions that are changing the modern digital world.

IT Week is a week of knowledge and culture sharing across EPAM. It is a series of speaking sessions that happen in all locations organized around a theme and topic streams. During IT Week 2017, the global EPAM community joined together to hear from hundreds of speakers who discussed the company’s vision, strategy, people and professional expertise – all with the goal of shaping our future together. Close to 300 EPAMers from 15 countries around the world highlighted their cutting-edge expertise and knowledge and delivered talks on various topics. The talks were watched by almost 5,000 EPAMers through multiple platforms.

IT Week 2017 was held in EPAM India from April 3-7. There were eight speakers who participated in the event and EPAMers from India and across the globe attended the sessions through multiple platforms. Rohit Vaidya, Senior Software Engineer, delivered a session about how he taught a machine to play chess. Aravindan Shanmugasundaram, Director of Quality Assurance, spoke about how to leverage the global quality model in software engineering to manage compliance. Sessions on ‘Salesforce wave analytics’ and ‘How to build, deploy and manage Microsoft applications using Azure Service Fabric’ also helped employees to learn new information and best practices.

IT Week has a tremendous agenda of close to 280 sessions held by EPAM leadership and global team members. EPAMers from 50 cities worldwide joined the conversation and hundreds of volunteers lent their support to make this event successful.
