Software Test Automation Engineer
Meet India EPAMers
Tell us about yourself.
My name is Siva Nagi Reddy Alla and I am a Full Stack Application Developer. Aside from Software Development, I like to go on long drives and have two hobbies – woodworking and gardening. I completed many skill enhancement programs in EPAM and currently am preparing to advance in the Solution Architect career path in 2019.
How did you become an engineer?
I am an electrical and electronics engineer by education, but I became interested in the software industry when writing programs on a 8085 microprocessor in college. I started my career with another IT company and then came to EPAM.
What brought you to EPAM?
After a long stint at my previous company, I took some time off and started looking for a challenge. I got a call from EPAM and was selected along with a couple of other companies. I decided to join EPAM because of the people who interviewed me – they made a positive impression on me and told me that EPAM was a great place to grow my career.
What do you like most about working here?
The thing I like most about EPAM is its people. I am very fortunate to work with a lot of great and talented people since the day I joined. They motivate me and inspire me to continuously learn, grow and do my best. EPAM offers great learning opportunities by providing trainings through EPAM University, Solution Architecture School and mentoring programs, as well as the opportunity to assess your skills using certification programs and assessments.
Any advice for future EPAMers?
EPAM offers a great work culture, good learning opportunities, talented people to work with, a healthy work-life balance, employee rewards, recognition programs and a casual workplace. Take advantage of the learning and mentoring programs provided by EPAM through its courses, EPAM University and SAS, set realistic goals in GROW, try hard to achieve your goals and work smart to excel in your career.
