EPAM India’s Leadership Team brings decades of IT experience, a passion for developing talent and dedication to helping our clients solve their complex business challenges.
As head of EPAM India’s Global Delivery Office, Srinivas manages the company’s India operations based in Hyderabad and Pune and is responsible for overall global delivery, including human resources, recruitment, finance, IT, training and quality. He has over 25 years of experience in IT in the areas of delivery, program and project management, software development, testing and support services, and training and education services.
Prior to EPAM, Srinivas served as the Managing Director of Alliance Global Services, a Philadelphia-based software product development and testing company. During his tenure as Managing Director, the company's India operation more than quadrupled in size to 1,000 employees. Before Alliance, he was the Director of Technology at Oramasters in India (a startup company acquired by Kenexa/IBM) that provided software solutions to customers in Europe and the Middle East. Prior to returning to India in 2000, Srinivas worked for eleven years in the United States. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from NIT in Surathkal, India and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey, USA.
Santanu heads EPAM India’s Agile & Engineering Excellence competency and supports several of the company’s strategic accounts. He focuses on implementing of best-of-breed engineering practices and building a culture that fosters innovation and growth and values passion and learning while delivering business values to the customers.
Santanu has over 24 years of experience in IT in the areas of product engineering, delivery management, program and project management, software development and testing. During his 14 years at EPAM, he has played an instrumental role in growing the company. Starting with a team of 100 EPAMers, Santanu now manages a strong team of over 1,000 engineers.
Before EPAM, Santanu worked at a product company called Intarka Inc. where he was one of the core team members that built an AI/Machine Learning product for lead generation in internet-based marketing. The product secured funding from the US National Education Association to build its flagship product, ProspectMiner, which was later acquired by Update.com and integrated into their CRM solutions. Before joining the industry Santanu did Masters in Mathematics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and did post graduate research for 5 years on Computational Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics, IIT Kharagpur.
Sandeep is responsible for building EPAM India’s strategic accounts and developing and growing the company’s DevOps and Cloud, Financial Services, Quality Engineering and BI & Big Data practices. He has over 23 years of experience in the areas of product and IP development, technology solutions, delivery management, leadership development and P&L management.
An engineering professional with agile, lean thinking and architectural skills, Sandeep has experience in leading large development efforts from concept to release by combining his knowledge of established models, engineering practices and a metrics-driven approach with strong team collaboration. He is passionate about designing and delivering innovative solutions to help our customers solve their business problems.
Prior to EPAM, Sandeep was the VP, Solution Delivery at Alliance Global Services, a Philadelphia-based software product development and testing company. Before Alliance, he worked in a telecom product development contact center, call center and with IVR products. Sandeep holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering with computer science from Manipal Institute of Technology.
Basha Syed heads Delivery Management for EPAM India and all engagements from India’s Global Delivery Office. He plays an instrumental role in planning client development strategies, leading strategic delivery efforts and building delivery management capabilities for India.
An engineering professional at his core, Basha focuses on embracing the best engineering delivery practices from inception through production adoption for EPAM India. He has nearly 21 years of experience in IT in the areas of application development, delivery management, project management, performance engineering, quality assurance and testing.
Prior to EPAM, Basha worked as the Vice President, Project Delivery at Alliance Global Services, a Philadelphia-based software product development and testing company. During his tenure, he was responsible for managing delivery governance of strategic accounts and contributed to delivery management practices and processes within the company. Before Alliance, he was a Lead Performance Engineering Consultant with Capgemini.
Basha holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering and has a postgraduate diploma in computer applications from the University of Hyderabad.
Shashikanth leads Human Resources and Administration at EPAM India and is responsible for managing the talent strategy and key people initiatives in the organization. He has over 14 years of experience in Human Resources management and implemented initiatives spanning various HR functions in the Indian Air Force and corporate sector.
An effective leader, strategic business partner and communicator with exceptional decision-making skills, Shashikanth has experience in developing HR processes for offshore development centers and also led the HR integration for various M&A activities. He specializes in the areas of Leadership Development, Performance Management, Total Rewards, Employee Development, Employee Engagement, HR Analytics, and Manpower Planning and Budgeting.
He believes in Jack Welch’s quote that “Leadership is not about position or title but about action” and in empowering people to make them successful.
Prior to EPAM, Shashikanth served as Director of Alliance Global Services, a Philadelphia-based software product development and testing company. Before Alliance, he was a Senior HR Manager with Infosys. Shashikanth holds a master’s degree in human resources from XLRI in Jamshedpur.
Manaw leads the Talent Development Team at EPAM India and manages several strategic accounts. As part of the Talent Development Team, Manaw is focused on hiring the right engineering talent and building educational practices and processes so that every EPAMer can learn new skills.
Manaw has 20 years of experience in IT engineering where he served in various roles. Beginning his career as a developer, Manaw then became a project manager and delivery manager. In his management roles, he has managed multiple software development projects delivering end-to-end solutions for medium to large enterprises.
Prior to EPAM, Manaw was a developer at a small enterprise. He holds a master degree in management from Sikkim Manipal.
Manaw is people-oriented, and loves food and cooking in his free time. He enjoys going on long drives at least once each year.
Sandeep is responsible for building technology depth and expanding the solution architect community and engineering excellence activities at EPAM India. He has over 20 years of experience serving in various roles where he created and delivered projects, specifically with client-server technologies and enterprise solutions.
Prior to joining EPAM, Sandeep built the API Gateway product for WaveMaker (a Pramati Company), a high performance product, which combines load balancing, and API Management capabilities. Previously, he architected and built online gaming servers for various gaming clients.
He is passionate about solution design, solving problems through coding, improving efficiencies in engineering and delivery, and discussing and sharing ideas with colleagues. Sandeep holds a master’s degree in chemistry from IIT, Chennai, India.
Muralidhar is responsible for talent acquisition, talent marketing and branding and campus hiring. He has over 18 years of experience in various functions including recruitment, resource management, workforce management, campus hiring, leadership hiring and talent marketing.
Prior to EPAM, Muralidhar worked with Genpact India as a Hiring Leader & Global Resource Management Head for their 12,000+ IT division. Before Genpact, he worked with large IT companies such as CSC and Visualsoft. He built and managed the hiring operations for CSC Hyderabad and Chennai. Murali holds a master’s degree in human resource management from Gitam University. He loves spending with people, participating in marathons and is an avid mountain trekker in Western Ghats.
