Currently we are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer for our Krakow office.


Our client is one of the largest investment banks in the world.


  • Review and perform testing/QA tasks in order to ensure that product quality and agreed requirements are met
  • Write and execute test cases and automated tests for the applications in scope
  • Report and track defects through to completion
  • Author and maintain test documentation
  • Keep track of the progress and effectiveness of testing efforts
  • Promote best practices in testing and ensure their adoption
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge for all systems allocated for testing


  • Strong experience in holding an IT position within a complex organization, preferably in the financial services domain
  • Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques for web applications, data integration middleware and API solutions
  • Extensive hands-on experience in manual and automated testing of distributed multi-tier applications and 3rd party vendor applications
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in working with test automation tools
  • Scripting and development experience (SQL, UNIX, Java, Python)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, quick in understanding concepts and software code which has been created by s.o. else
  • Demonstrable experience across the testing lifecycle, including system, system integration, user acceptance and regression testing
  • Proven success in quality assurance of medium to large enterprise applications
  • ISTQB Certification (Advanced Level)
  • Fluent in English, excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work as part of a global team
  • Process oriented with a structured approach
  • A self-starter, proactive and resilient to ensure goals are met
  • A reliable partner with a high awareness of quality and deadlines
  • A proactive and independent work style, excellent organizational skills
