Currently we are looking for Senior Hardware/Software Developer with extensive experience for our office in Austin, TX to make the team even stronger.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, maintain test infrastructure designed for testing High and Low speed interfaces
  • Work closely with client system EE, architecture, firmware, operations, test and logistics groups
  • Assist in hardware debug and bring up on existing projects, including deep dives into ongoing issues of existing hardware devices
  • Frequent interactions with CM/Vendors and developing SOPs

What You Have

  • A degree in an associated field and/or other advanced certification along with significant experience
  • Extensive experience of software and firmware development for hardware solutions
  • BS or MS in CS/EE or equivalent
  • Understanding of EE concepts. (i.e. read schematics, HW architectures, debug interfaces, etc.)
  • Experience developing critical frameworks and/or API’s for multiuser deployment scenarios
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to manage many priorities across multiple disciplines
  • Strong programming fundamentals (C, C++, Objective C)
  • Flexibility and comfort working in a quickly changing environment

Nice to have

  • Scripting experience (Python, Perl, shell, etc)
  • Microcontroller experience (PIC, ARM, 8051, etc)
  • Prior experience in PCB board debug and bring-up as related to firmware and device software interface
  • Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design for Test (DFT) and statistical tolerance analysis techniques
  • Design experience for high volume applications
  • Previous experience in web development and/or databases
  • Hardware design experiences
  • Software/firmware development experience on high speed protocols
