Currently we are looking for a Junior Supply Chain Planner/Event Forecaster (Data Analyst in Supply Chain) for our Katowice office to make the team even stronger.

In forecasting, the planner creates, delivers and executes an accurate forecast in support of event-based planning using statistical modelling methodologies. Ensure forecasts meets established goals for accuracy by monitoring consumer sales, marketing activity, and menu offerings. Much of the workload involves quantitative forecasting methods, but part of forecasting also includes qualitative inputs.
For Supply Planning, he/she is responsible for the development & execution of supply plans supporting multiple promotional, new, corve food, and packaging initiatives. This includes feasibility planning, planning & analysis, communication, and post analysis of assigned projects & categories.


This is a unique role that will be cross trained in both events Supply Planning and Events forecasting. This will allow for flexibility to support a variety of programs. This is a perfect position for someone that can adapt, be flexible, and has the ability to think and react quickly! The process might be the same but every program brings new, unique challenges.

  • Create food promotion forecasts, along with accompanying materials
  • Work with supply planners on root cause analysis
  • Be responsible for achieving agreed upon KPIs, measures and SLAs
  • Perform analysis for spontaneous assignments such as post-promotion evaluations and halo/cannibalization assessments
  • Communicate the event forecast output and the methodologies to local market teams
  • Communicate forecast to demand planning and Event Supply Planners
  • Support the local market team in their account management responsibilities
  • Be responsible to support assigned projects, timelines, & team deliverables to meet customer objectives and milestones
  • Develop production, distribution, and inventory management plans in support of promotional and core items
  • Conduct promotional capacity analyses and financial risk assessments to identify potential constraints and/or exposure and create recommended contingency plans to mitigate or minimize risk
  • Conduct root cause analysis on all planning/program exceptions. Identify gaps and issues and work with stakeholders to resolve
  • Track and manage compliance against plans and makes recommendations on corrective actions
  • Work with cross functional teams to adjust shipment plans (BOM changes, Line of supply changes, safety stock and YCF adjustments, etc.)
  • Communicate the supply plan outputs and thought process to local market teams
  • Communicate supply plan to core item team


  • University Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a quantitative field like statistics, Economics, or Finance
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytics (numeric/data processing and interpretations)
  • Experience with Inventory/Demand/ERP Applications & Reporting Tools (JDA, JDE, OBIEE, Tableau, PowerBI) with SQL
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both onsite and offsite cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage and prioritize different tasks, effectively balance priorities, and be accepting of ambiguity
  • Command skills
  • Strong communication skills appropriate across all levels of the organization (English)
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and come up with alternative solutions
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with Inventory/Demand/ERP Applications & Reporting Tools (JDA, JDE, OBIEE, Tableau, PowerBI) with SQL
  • Supply Chain Planning experience
  • Statistical programming / statistical software package such as SAS, R, SPSS
  • Demand Planning and/or Supply Planning familiarity or training
  • Experience with SAS, JDA, SAP or another demand planning tool
  • Project Management or related experience
